Dwaki - Paradise in Meghalaya

#ashokasays Did you know 185:

DAWKI
North-East is one of the most unexplored regions in India. When you visit the place you’ll be proud to say that it’s in India. It’s a small world full of surprises if you are ready to explore. The breathtaking views of mountains, the endless verdant, the magical waterfalls, the wild caves and the distinct culture of North-East India will leave you with an amazing travel experience. You will drool over the North-eastern cuisines as these  have a lot of  variety and are different from the rest of  India.
DAWKI is one such place..
This paradise is located in Meghalaya, in Jaintia Hill district.
The crystal clear greenish-blue river makes Dawki one of the most attractive places in Meghalaya. Drive to Dawki through the scenic route of 70 Kms from Shillong. The water is so clear and clean, it would seem as the boat with fishermen is floating in the air. Dawki is one of the few road borders crossing between India and Bangladesh. The two nations are connected with a suspension bridge over the river for regular trading which makes it even more fascinating! You will come back refreshed and revitalized. This place will definitely give you a surreal experience.
The aerial view of the river from the road is just superb. It looks like a glass and you can see Bangladesh plains at a very close distance on the other side of the river.
INCREDIBLE BHARATHA
