It
was only at 24 that Vishwas started his swimming career. With
determination, hard work, and support from Sunil Jain and his NGO Astha,
the swimmer achieved international recognition in three years. He made
it into the the national para-swimming setup after impressing
selectors during a tournament in Belgavi. Three gold medals at that
event, saw the Sports Authority of India (SAI) coaches immediately give
him the Canada nod.
